If you have to ask me what my favorite snack is, it would probably be chips. Everyone has a favorite snack and I didn't really think about it or realize how much I love chips. I would think people who love chips would be people who would eat a big bag in one sitting or eat multiple snack pack sized bags in one sitting. I love chips, knowing I have a lot of flavors in my pantry and when I would go to the supermarket, I enjoyed going down the chip aisle and seeing the new flavors and kinds of chips.
Today, I am featuring a brand that I have been longing to try - Rusty's Chips. I first saw Rusty's in a hotel room in Las Vegas and I've been wanting to try it ever since from seeing an online article of homemade chips in Southern California. I am very happy to report back on my tastings of Rusty's. I was very intrigued by the Chili Lime flavor of the corn chips and I decided to try them with a salsa that I make all the time. You can really tell the texture is different and the flavor goes really well with this or any salsa you have on hand.
The salsa I always make is very simple to make if anyone wants to know. Note for all my cooking, I rarely use measurements. Mix one can of corn, black beans, 4 roma tomatoes (chopped), as much cilantro and green onion you like, juice from half of a lime, and salt and pepper to your liking.
Thanks so much for Rusty's for the opportunity to try their yummy chips!
